"An Oelwein couple journeyed to Dubuque Thursday and when they returned on the night train they were married (December 2, 1909). They were Forrest Borland and Miss Mae Marsh, and returned Mr. and Mrs. Borland.
Their friends are extending congratulations and well wishes. Mr. Borland is in the employ of the Wells Fargo Express Company and is well known in the city.
The bride has been a resident of the city for several years and is also well known. The groom reported for duty at the Express office Friday morning as though nothing had happened, and it is presumed that they will live together happy ever afterward"
